Twin Crows was pure fun and enjoyment from start to finish. Reading it was like taking a breath and stepping back from the dark, intense fantasy that clouds my shelves, allowing me to dive into a YA fantasy book that's fast-paced, fun, full of all the tropes we love and has a satisfying ending.
As far as Shakespeare retellings go, this trilogy is my favourite. Our Violent Ends is the sequel to These Violent Delights and picks up a few months after the events of the first book. Set in 1927 Shanghai, Juliette and Roma are more divided than ever, and their city is on the brink of civil war.
My favourite Holly Black book! Dangerous and deadly, Book of Night wraps you in a cloak of Shadows and leaves you in the dark until the very end, you don't want to miss this!
Once Upon a Broken Heart was a book I expected I wasn't going to enjoy . . . but ended up loving!
