Two five star reads and some mixed emotions. Here's all the books I read in March.
The Shadow of the Gods is a rich blend of Norse mythology, vengeance and victory. As the first instalment in The Bloodsworn Saga, John Gwynne creates a gritty world full of legends, where only the ruthless survive. Fantasy readers are going to enjoy this new, epic fantasy series.
Nothing beats the feeling of being excited to sit down and continue reading a book you love. That's now I felt reading Lore by Alexandra Bracken.
Cassandra Clare excels at two things: love triangles and dramatic endings, and Chain of Iron left me stunned.
My first five star read of the year, revisiting fictional worlds and exploring new ones too.
Kingdom of the Wicked follows Emilia, a witch who lives in hiding amongst humans. She was raised with the beliefs that they should never engage with the Wicked.
This was my most anticipated release of the year and it did not disappoint. Sarah J. Maas is my favourite author and I absolutely adored this book!
A Vow so Bold and Deadly is a lot of fun, however it did not live up to my expectations.
There are so many fantasy series I want to read, and I'm hoping to binge a few of them in 2021
Falling into a reading slump is a bookworms biggest fear, so throughout the month I have put together a list to pull us all out of a slump and get us back into reading.
